A vacancy for a Workshop/Fleet Supervisor is available at Volcanoes Safaris, based in our Kampala  Workshop.

Reports to Operations Manager

Minimum experience of three years with Proven hands-on experience maintaining and repairing Land Rover Defenders with excellent attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written. Must be dynamic, articulate and committed, with a willingness to learn.

Prior experience in a supervisory or senior mechanic role.

Must work well under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines.

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, manual transmissions, axles, suspension, and electrical systems.

Valid driver’s license.

May require travel to upcountry to address reported breakdowns. May require work outside of normal working hours and occasional weekend work.

Other tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.
